Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama said Port of Rotterdam supports Port of Jakarta development. Joint venture to be formed between Port of Rotterdam, Jakarta Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) PT Jakarta Propertindo and Pelindo.

“They have created a brochure to declare their cooperation with Indonesia Port of Company,” he said, Thursday (3/10).

He hoped joint venture could be formed in 2017 to manage four reclamation islands, N, O, P, and Q island.

Basuki is about to meet President Joko Widodo to discuss about Port of Jakarta development. The project needs presidential decree to manage those islands.

He explained those four islands policy is different with other islands. Those four islands’ focus are for logistic and port. “We need presidential decree to smooth the project,” he closed.
